Numerical techniques and algorithms are becoming integral part of the engineering design process through sophisticated software packages such as Fluent, ECLIPSE reservoir simulator, CFX and STAR-CD. The prime interest of the workshop is in work that describe and analyse new computational techniques for solving engineering problems. In addition, new and real industrial applications of the existing algorithms and methods are strongly encouraged. The workshop is devoted to the development of algorithms and methods for efficiently simulating engineering processes. The main aim of the workshop is to provide a unique interdisciplinary forum for dealing with mathematical models, numerical methods, and algorithms for the numerical simulation of engineering problems. Researchers and scientists from various disciplines are invited to submit their original work.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
To be announced soon.
Authors are invited to submit paper in PDF format with 5-10 keywords following the IEEE CS format. Submitted papers will be reviewed by external reviewers, and authors will be provided with reviews. Final version of accepted papers should at most 6 pages and will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press as CSE-08 workshop proceedings. Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the IEEE Digital Library after the conference.
The IEEE instructions and template files for preparing papers are available here (consider the two-column format).
Please submit your paper to the workshop through the submission page of CSE 2008.
